My ear piercings have been acting up?

My top set of piercings (of three sets) have been leaking clear fluid and crusting. They are not cartilage piercings, and they are not new. They are about three years old. Why is this occurring, and how might I stop it? I have changed the earrings to different metals (gold, steel, and silver) without positive results. Any help would be appreciated.

Use hydrogen peroxide, it will get rid of the gunk inside the piercing and clean it as well. Before you put in an earring let it sit in Hydrogen Peroxide to kill off the bacteria.
People say to use rubbing alcohol, but that is horrible. Ear piercings are sensitive, and rubbing alcohol will kill bacteria, but will prevent the piercing from healing again.

Twice a day you can use a warm paper towel soaked in Salt water. This helps some people heal, but I never had great results.
